    We are advancing in creating a new life in mars, but first we should make our planet better place for living.

      During this difficult Pandemic time, Government is facilitating the needs and arrangements of all Industrial sectors. But Government is ignorant about Agriculture and Farmers. As per latest reports agriculture employed over 50% of the Indian workforce and contributed 17-18% to country’s GDP. Agriculture GDP Contribution is nearly 18%, still Government Doesn’t care much about Agriculture and farmers.

 Let’s discuss the Problem faced by the farmers during this Pandemic time. Farmers are in deep trouble during this Lockdown Period. I am from Farming family; I know what are the challenges that the farmers are facing while doing agriculture. We do banana farming in large scale. During the first wave of COVID 19, Lockdown is imposed all over the Country, there is no transport between states, Export is the only option for our Agriculture Goods and local demand is very low. We Got a good yield in our banana farm last year, most of our banana shred wasted in our farms and we sell remaining shred at a very cheap rate. We faced a huge loss that year, this is because of poor lockdown rules imposed by Government. Government should allow transport between the states only for Agriculture Purpose. All shops remained closed during the lockdown days, Getting fertilizers, Pesticides for Agriculture is Challenging for farmers, Within Interval of 30 days we should manure them for better Productivity. During the nationwide lockdown, Union Government Announces the Relief measures for Auto drivers, tailor etc., But Farmers are not benefitted through this, if farmers need to get any relief from government. Farmers should register all details with Government, But Problem is Most our farmers are uneducated, they are not aware about disaster relief management and schemes Involved in it. So, what government should do is, Government should Educate Farmers and how to apply and claim it.  We all heard this phrase, that Agriculture is the backbone of our Nation., But all these farm laws and things happening for farmers seems that Backbone is Broken. At the End of the day Government should realise that, Industries cannot produce Rice and food products, but farmers Can. So, Whatever it takes, Government Should take care of welfare of farmers.
