India is a country where most of the policies ,plan and development projects are Debatable one. Most of the times Politics plays a vital role here for vote sake. People must be aware of these kind of things., If we oppose all kind of constructive projects, definitely we will be lagging 20 years behind., Lets Come to our Discussion, Government of India released a draft of national educational policy at the end of this July, thing is government just released draft of this policy most of the political parties in nations  opposed the draft blindly, I agree we cannot fully accept the policy , there needs some serious reforms there.

  Why NEP is needed rightnow?

Our country seriously needs major reforms in our educational policy, our educational policy last revised in 1992 and our education policy is 28 years old, Just Chill ax and think where we leading, we are in still 90'S. Lets think how many technological advancement happens in between these years, I read an article once that says " 94% of Engineering Graduates are not fit for hiring" , See this statement, how Pathetic situation are we, What is the solution? Millions of the engineers are harvested in the Engineering farms with Zero practical Knowledge, In Tamilnadu there are around 572 Engineering Colleges , Founders of the Major colleges are Corrupted Politician, What they values"Quality Education or Money" , Ultimately Money is the prime factor for him.I feel ashamed of call myself as a Engineer , in my college they value only marks , if your are good at academics you are Genius. Most of the college which is in Tamilnadu, they don't have proper lab facilities and sometimes no lab instructor and they provide full marks to the Students during lab exams, and still many colleges claiming that they are best in world and competing with Massachusetts  ,problem is with Government they don't set any restriction to open a College,. Opportunities must be given to visionaries not to Tycoons. 

Problem with NEP!!!

There should be some cons in NEP

* Once NEP is Implemented students should take public exams in 3,5,8 . This setup definitely brings panic to the students regarding the education, once he lags in third standard he is disappointed with the studied and it may diverted him some other ways.

*Three language policy should not be implemented , why hindi is imposing here in non hindi speaking state? Language is one's own wish.

*Common Entrance test for colleges - This gives slight confusion to everyone, because this is like NEET Exam . Why Government school students are not cracking in NEET, Students from from settled background are easily achieving the that kind of exams , government school students are financially not strong to take coaching for medical exams.     same never happens for     "CET".

*Opening higher Education to foreign institutions , Actually this good. Problem is was this is affordable to all class of people . (Fees Structure).


Closing Thoughts :)

There may be some debatable factors in NEP, Government should hear suggestions from all layers of people and Implement NEP in India without further delay. Opposite parties shouldn't play politics in this. Quality of Education is declining rapidly in our country and Indian students need to compete with global standards.
